What colors is the ring available in?

Our NEXTRING is available in three colors: Raw Titanium, Matt Black, & Rose Gold.

Which devices are compatible with the ring?

Our NEXTRING works with iPhones running iOS 15 or later and with Android devices running Android 6 or later.

What is the NEXTRING made of?

The ring is carefully crafted from durable titanium and reinforced with a tungsten carbide coating that increases its resistance to daily activities.

How does the ring detect and measure body signals?

The NEXTRING has a range of sensors, including a temperature sensor, a PPG sensor (photoplethysmography) and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for measuring movement. These sensors detect the signals from your finger and enable the ring to collect vital data. These signals are then processed using advanced algorithms developed by NEXTRING to give you deep metabolic insights and a comprehensive understanding of your body’s dynamics.

What specific parameters can the ring monitor?

The Ring AIR is able to capture a comprehensive range of measurements related to sleep, movement and recovery. These include heart rate, HRV, body temperature, SPO2, sleep stages, movement frequency and recovery patterns. It also provides real-time insights to help you make healthier choices every day.

What is heart rate variability (HRV)?

Heart rate variability, commonly abbreviated as HRV, refers to the amount of fluctuation or variation in your heart rate over a period of time. HRV is a valuable measure for assessing physical well-being, including heart disease, as well as mental health factors such as anxiety and stress levels. In general, a higher HRV is considered an indication of better overall health.

How does the NEXTRING differ from other portable devices?

Unlike many other wearables, the NEXTRING focuses specifically on providing insights into factors that influence our body’s metabolism. It goes beyond traditional tracking by measuring key aspects such as sleep quality, sleep zones, stress levels (through HRV) and activity distribution. What makes it special is its ability to not only collect data, but also correlate it with real-time prompts and insights so that users can make informed decisions to improve their metabolic health.

How accurate is the ring data?

The measurements derived from the ring are carefully compared with industry-leading fitness wearables available worldwide.

Where is my health data collected in the app hosted / stored?

Your data is hosted on our secure servers in EUROPE, which means that no health or profile data leaves the European zone or reaches ASIA!

Can I wear the ring every day?

Without a doubt! Our ring is made from hypoallergenic materials and is therefore suitable for constant wear around the clock.

Is the ring suitable for wearing under water?

Yes, of course! The NEXTRING is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters and can therefore be worn during activities such as swimming, showering, diving and more. To maintain its optimal performance, we do not recommend wearing the ring underwater for more than 12 hours continuously.

How long does it take for the ring to be fully charged?

The NEXTRING takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

What should I do if my ring is stuck?

It should be noted that the size of your fingers and the ring may fluctuate throughout the day and under certain conditions, causing the ring to feel tight and may be difficult to remove. If you find that your ring is stuck, consider these strategies:

Moisten your finger with cold water and a little soap and then try to gently twist the ring off. Raising your hand may lower the blood pressure in that area, which may make the ring easier to remove. If your finger has enlarged due to strenuous exercise or ingestion of food and drink, it may be helpful to give the finger some time to return to its normal size.

Is the ring considered a medical device?

Our NEXTRING is not classified as a medical device. Its sole purpose is to promote and support a healthy lifestyle. The ring is not intended for the treatment or prevention of disease and should not be used as a basis for diagnosis, treatment or dosage decisions. It is not intended to replace professional medical opinions or advice regarding the treatment, diagnosis, prevention or alleviation of any disease or disability.

It is always important to consult a doctor or qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to medications, routines or diet, especially if you have pre-existing health problems or concerns. Please note that the accuracy of biomarker data may be affected if you have been diagnosed with a medical condition. Therefore, it is important that you do not disregard or delay professional medical advice or treatment based on information you receive from or access through the Ultrahuman app.

Is the ring safe from electrostatic discharge (ESD)?

In any case! Our NEXTRING is ESD-safe, so you will not suffer any electrostatic shocks from the ring.

Is it safe to wear the ring on tattooed fingers?

Yes, you can wear the ring on tattooed fingers. However, please note that a dark and heavy tattoo may affect the accuracy of the readings taken by the ring.
